From its nationally-ranked schools situated on a 200-acre learning campus to its miles of leisure trails leading to a town center with a library, café, restaurants and shops, New Albany planners paid careful attention to the details that truly define quality of life.

The drive to continually deliver on that promise resulted in the creation of the New Albany Community Foundation which brings together groups in a spirit of cooperation to make the best use of the community’s resources.  Public-private partnerships spearheaded by the foundation have led to the opening of both the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library and the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts,  as well as the development of a Safety Town program for preschoolers.

Among the defining principles that set New Albany apart from its neighbors is the strong sense of community that brings people together who share an affinity for education, culture, leisure and wellness.
