Education

From its nationally-ranked schools and library to its annual lecture series, New Albany prides itself on its commitment to lifelong learning for residents of all ages. The central role that education plays in the life of the community is evident in the development of its 200-acre Learning Community Campus at the center of the town.  Recognizing the central role of education and culture in community building, The New Albany Company provided the land for the campus and initiated the development of the New Albany Community Authority to provide funding for the School Campus and the New Albany Foundation to provide intellectually and culturally stimulating programming year-round for the community.

The City is also the home to outstanding private schools, including the Columbus Jewish Day School, Marburn Academy and the New Albany Montessori School, and is in close proximity to the Columbus Academy and Columbus School for Girls.
